Interior Spaciousness

The phrase "interior spaciousness" was authored by Herman Melville:  “It does seem to me, that herein we see the rare virtue of a strong individual vitality, and the rare virtue of thick walls, and the rare virtue of interior spaciousness...Like the great dome of St. Peter's, and like the great whale, retain, O man! in all seasons a temperature of thine own.”

I have a deep and abiding philosophy that all human beings are inherently loving and loveable, and desire to move toward health and wholeness. The first step in healing is to develop  compassion for ourselves and for others. My vision for my work as a psychotherapist is to provide you with a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space for growth, discovery, and healing. When we follow that path together, you will be able to fully explore and expand--into new areas of experience and consciousness. This 'inner-expansion' is how Melville's evocative phrase, "Interior Spaciousness", translates into our work together.
